We’re sourcing for Competent Electrical Engineer

REQUIREMENTS:-

• Holds a degree in electrical engineering or the technically equivalent qualification from a recognized university or institution.
• Professional Engineer (Ir.) with Practicing Certificate in electrical engineering registered with the Board of Engineers under the Registration of Engineers Act 1967 [Act 138].
• Have a valid CEE Certificate of Competency (CoC) issued by EIU, in which the competency categories stated in the CoC shall have at least Underground Cables and Electrical Substation; and voltage level of at least 275kV; and Authorized for Switching.
• At least five (5) years’ working experience in an environment where electrical equipment is in operation and has had experience of controlling live equipment.
• Sufficient knowledge of modern electrical engineering practice, including the principles of operation of equipment used for generation, transmission, distribution, utilization, protection and metering in electrical installations and energy efficiency management.
• Have sufficient knowledge of basic first aid, resuscitation and treatment of electric shock and holds a valid first aid certification.
• Have sufficient knowledge of The Electricity Ordinance, The Electricity Rules, 1999 made thereunder.
• Experience as visiting CEE or equivalent (e.g. involved in switchboard/substation equipment design, installation, testing and commissioning of up to 275kV) of at least three (3) years.
