Job Role / Description:
To plan, prepare and supervise onsite well intervention, rig less and related well service operations and support Snr Completion Engineer / Well Services Lead to ensure safe and effective execution of well intervention, rig less and related well service operations.- To apply all his experience to ensure work programs and procedures are executed in a safe, effective and efficient manner.
- Establish and retain complete operational understanding of the current operation / work.
- Maintain and professionally communicate with all Service Providers Supervisors and crews to ensure they fully understand the importance of their role in the effective execution of the work.
- To establish and maintain a solid technical understanding of Slickline, Wireline, Braided Line, Coiled Tubing, Wireline logging, bottom hole samples, perforations, calliper surveys, etc.
- To establish and maintain a solid technical understanding of Slickline works to set / pull plugs, open close down hole sliding sleeves, change out gas lift valves, drift runs, pressure-temperature surveys, lock open sub-surface safety valves, install & pull subsurface safety valve, tubing punch, fishing, setting / pulling plugs, etc.
- Well integrity verification, Wellhead and Xmas Tree repairs and maintenance including repair to valves on Xmas Tree & Wellhead, setting & pulling tubing hanger plug, replacing parts of wellhead & Xmas Tree, etc.
- To establish and maintain a solid technical understanding of Coiled Tubing well intervention including setting/retrieving plugs sand clean-out, acidisation, fishing, milling, nitrogen lift, etc.
- To establish and maintain a solid technical understanding of pumping operation including well kill, pumping treatment fluids, etc.
- He MUST establish and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the use of all pressure control equipment and related operating procedures.
- He is expected to establish and maintain a basic technical and operational understanding of contractor’s surface equipment and downhole tools.
- Participate in refining work practices, work programs, On-Paper exercises, HAZOP, HAZIP, Risk Assessments and execution of same by identifying and reporting procedural inefficiencies, equipment deficiencies, lessons learnt, training requirements and personnel competence deficiencies.
- Prepare, review and communicate instructions for operations to be carried out like Daily Standing Instruction to on site personnel and crews.
- Maintain a working knowledge of the “Well-view” reporting system. (Request training if required).
- Issue and distribute an accurate and understandable Daily Well Intervention Report in English using the “Well-view”, Excel or other reporting system.
- Assist in maintaining the Company’s “Undesired Event Report” (UER) reporting system.
- Understand and work with the team in maintaining all related HSE reporting requirements. (Request training if required).
- Communicate regularly with the Well Services Team leader and onshore support group.
- Communicate on regular bases with the Field Manager and other Key Field Personnel.
- Support the Wells Delivery and Intervention team in compliance with HSE and Government regulations through the provision of relevant information needed for the purpose.
- Follow, and ensure all processes are carried out in line with company policies, procedure and regulation and international standard in order to ensure safety environment so that the safety of employees, quality of product/services and environment compliance can be guaranteed.
- Worksite: Maintain the highest possible levels of risk awareness throughout the operation and identify where the major risks are.
- Ensuring all related elements of safety are respected and applied on the worksite.
- Ensuring all related Work Permit Procedures are understood by the service providers and that the service providers are implementing same in accordance with the Companies requirement.
- Identify safety “weak points” and take responsible actions to mitigate same.
- Familiarize himself with all “Companies” HSE documentation and procedures.
- Follow-up with the Field Safety Officer on the HOC procedure and encourage participation in the system.
- Plan and communicate with related third parties on the movement of personnel and equipment to, from & between the operation sites, supply bases, warehouses, workshops and vessels.
- Ensure Service Providers monitor and maintain equipment inventories and equipment movements.
- Familiarize himself with all related well control “standards”.
- Ensure Service Providers are maintaining and using all well control equipment in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations and related standards.
- Maintain accurate daily cost tracking and related reporting.

- Manage time writing for Sabah Deepwater Maintenance Team.
- Maintain skill pool and training matrix for Sabah Deepwater Maintenance Team.
- Minimum SPM holder, however, a diploma holder in any major is an advantage.
- Have knowledge in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM), SAP Material Management (MM) and Contract Procurement (CP) module and Ariba.
- Minimum of five (5) years of work experience in Oil and Gas Industry.
- Able to work well with all levels of personnel with minimum supervision.
- Exhibit a positive attitude and an effective team player.
- Be computer literate with basic to advanced skills in standard Microsoft Office applications.
- Effective stakeholder skills, self-motivated, highly driven for performance, customer focus and collaborative/team working skills are essential.
- Ability to manage, plan, and communicate with various stakeholders from different lines of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities: ▪ Ensure safe working environment – ACT, housekeeping, buddy system, work within PTW system ▪ Assist electrical technical in running day-day operation Preventive Maintenance and Corrective
Maintenance ▪ Perform electrical isolation to ensure isolated section is energy free, ▪ Response to CRO when support required on alarm management. ▪ Troubleshooting: motor, control panel, heater, transformer, VSD, HVAC, GTGs, EDG/BDG, chiller, freezer, lighting.
Qualifications: ▪ BTEC Advanced Diploma L3 or; ▪ Diploma in Electrical ▪ Possess Chargeman A0/A1
Working Experience: ▪ More than 3 years in Electrical related field work.
Other requirements: ▪ Willing to work offshore on roster. ▪ Eager to learn attitude.
