Ergonomics Risk Assessment (ERA)
Ergonomics risk assessment is an assessment to identify, assess, and control ergonomics risk factor associated with the work task and activities at the workplace. Risk factor can be listed such as awkward posture, static and sustained work posture, forceful exertion, repetitive motion, hands-arm and whole-body vibration and environmental risk factors include extreme temperatures (too hot/too cold), inadequate lighting, inadequate air ventilation/ poor indoor air quality and noise exposure more than noise exposure limit.
Ergonomics Risk Assessment are considering requirement under Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 1994, that is to promote occupational environment for person at work which adapted to their psychological and psychological needs. It shall be a duty of the employer to provide a safe and healthy workplace for their employees and person other than their employees.
EP Engineering will ensure our clients achieve the objective of Ergonomics risk assessment and experiencing the benefits of it to their workplace by having their workplace assessed with Ergonomics Risk Assessment conducted by certified Ergonomics Trained person.
