Job Responsibilities / Requirements:-
a)Provide support services for local Petrotech and Non-Petrotech application in Malaysia (Level 1 and Level 2.
- Perform necessary problem identification and troubleshoot system issues involving few areas such as Operation/Production system, Drilling & Completion system, Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) system, Logistic system and Engineering system.
- Work together with other IT personnel to identify, troubleshoot and resolve level-1 issues reported by Petrotech and Non-Petrotech users.
- Work on system documentation covering guidelines, system architecture, system ID, roles and access.
- Escalate and coordinate level-2/level-3 support with respective software vendors or internal IT helpdesk to resolve any issue that cannot be resolved.
b) Enhancement and Project resource for Petrotech and Non-Petrotech application.
- Project resources – e.g. implementation new software applications.
- Perform software installation, UAT, software version and license upgrade.
- Coordinate the execution of outsourced projects with vendors or internal IT helpdesk.
- Timely update project status report and progress.
c) Data Engineering to Support Asset Data Analytic initiatives.
- Involve in data engineering work that consist of data preparation, cleansing, data cataloging, database scripting to provide required data for analytic work.
- Work closely with other data engineer and data scientist to develop required solution by the business.
d) IT Service Management.
- Use of IT ticketing system to track all requests – create, update and escalate.
- Join IT Weekly Dashboard meeting and YTT meetings.
- Prepare IT dashboard on projects when required and present during dashboard meeting.
- Participate in project/support meeting with Houston counterpart outside of normal office hours (night time or early morning time).
