Job Requirements:

  • Degree preferably in Engineering from a reputable local/overseas university/ higher learning institution.
  • Candidate with no or up to 2 years’ experience with excellent academic results are encouraged to apply. Experience in oil & gas industry will be an added advantage.
  • Strong interests in System Related initiatives as a means to continuously improve work processes. Previous experience using SAP Materials Management (MM) module under RP2 (Central) and XP8 (Local) platforms or other ERP system is an advantage. Strong analytical skills, dynamic, flexible and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills in English, good interpersonal skills and a team player.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (MS Excel, Word, Power Point)
  • Manage new cataloguing requests from End Users and Warehouse personnel for all materials particularly stock materials to be stored at supply bases and offshore platforms.
  • Maintain the quality and consistency of cataloguing format as per Company’s cataloguing  guideline.
  • Responsible for material master creation, material cataloguing, data cleansing
    and enrichment. Develop materials purchase specifications and additional characteristics to acceptable standards in SAP MM module.
  • Identify the discrepancies between the actual item  characteristics in inventory and the reference documents. Incorporate the relevant information from catalogues, drawings and other reference documents in SAP MM module.
    Manage material standardization, formatted/structure cataloguing and inventory value optimization.  Conduct research to determine what stock group or class to assign items to or to change items from an old classification to a new one.
