Job Opportunity – Construction Site Lead I
About the Job:
Lead Site Safety. Lead company site team (as assigned) for completion of construction activities in accordance with project objectives, priorities, and contract specifications
• Serve as member of the Project Team (PT) when project assigned.
• Oversee the execution of fabrication, construction, and hookup.
• Coordinate activities of site safety, technical, and quality inspection personnel.
• Determine if corrective actions are needed in order to meet project objectives, and work to have these implemented.
• Coordinate site interfaces between contractors (and subcontractors) with Production Operations, Drilling, and other ongoing projects as applicable.
• Report progress, performance, initiatives, issues, and challenges to Construction Site Manager or Project Manager as appropriate.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supervise the electrical and instrumentation works at the SITE to ensure compliance with applicable design specification, drawings per Company’s requirements.
• Verifying contractor workforce to ensure they are qualified to carried out the works.
• Providing direction and facilitation to contractors on Electrical/Instrumentation works.
• Ensure execution team comply with work processes, permits and able to drive workforce in term of safety, quality and productivity.
• Interface with PIC, platform maintenance, Construction Coordinator, Construction Supervisor and other functions to ensure smooth execution of work, priority, planning onsite and deliver per agreed plan.
• Knowledgeable on Integrated Planning & Scheduling, P&ID & ISO drawing, multiple work activities and Work Management System (WMS).
• Experience in coordinating monthly planning discussions with various workgroups; managing changes to schedule and optimizing resources such as logistics and boats, construction support and platform bed space.
• Consolidates and leads plans for minor outages such as a satellite SD, or a compressor SD to ensure all opportunities are captured, and different workgroup readiness and schedule is being stewarded.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledgeable on Shutdown Management System (SDMS) or equivalent.
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent
- Good knowledge of applicable codes, standards and regulations for electrical and instrumentation engineering and construction.
- Good knowledge in Offshore Piping and Structure HUC works will be added advantage.
- Must be fluent in English.
- Willing to travel (domestic/overseas) to project sites.
- Past Construction Site Lead experience on major capital project.
