JOB OPPORTUNITY – Material Management Lead

We’re sourcing for Material Management Lead.

Work Based: Onshore based – Bintulu.

REQUIREMENTS:-

• A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Operations or Warehouse Management will be ideal.
• Skilled in Warehouse HSSE requirements and is able to guide, coach and develop personnel working in this environment.
• Knowledge of local regulations with regards to packaging of hazardous goods for storage and for transportation.
• Understand Waste storage, handling treatment and disposal methods.
• Strong customer relationship management skills to understand needs and problems, and more importantly provide options and solutions.
• Skilled in the assessment of Warehouse & Yard HSSE Risk Exposure and mitigation actions.
• Mastery in analysing/planning Warehouse service requirements and determine resource requirements and responsibilities.
• Mastery in managing Warehouse overall operational performance and to initiate improvements.
• Skilled in managing Warehouse contractors with strong interpersonal, supervisory and team building skills.
• Mastery in Warehouse Management Policy and Procedures.
• Mastery in Warehouse operations, Material Handling, Storage and Preservation.
• Skilled on requirements for safe and efficient Lifting & Hoisting (cranes and forklifts).
• Skilled in assurance of Warehouse processes.
• Decision making and planning skills, at Tactical and Operational Level.
• Hands-on experience in contract management and HSSE accountability.
• Strong personal computer skills (word, excel, power-point). Experienced in using SAP.
• Proficient with data management, experience with IT systems and reports delivery.
• External mind-set –researches industry trends and best practice.
• Owning industry accreditations in Logistics or specifically Supply Base/Warehouse operations would be beneficial.
• At least 5 years’ experience in offshore oil & gas industry material management, warehouse logistics and coordination activities.
