Requirements:-
– Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering or relate discipline. Preferable registered with Board of Engineers or equivalent.
– Min. 8 years working experience in the Oil & Gas Petrochemical industry.
– Experience in carry out review of multi-discipline documents to ensure ALARP designs been adopted, and experience in conducting risk assessment and risk reviews.
– Good working knowledge and experience using safety risk-based methodologies (e.g HAZOP, QRA, SIL). Familiar with process safety management.
– Experience in accessing effectiveness of working practices and system with a view to continuously improving systems, personal and team performance.
– Ability to lead or support safety engineering studies including, Concept ALARP Reviews, Risk Impact Studies, dropped object studies and specialist studies.
– Having good knowledge of gas processing in particular with High CO2 and Mercury is preferable.
– Familiar with industry standards and specifications (API, NFPA, etc.).
– Sound judgment and problem solving skills.
– Ability to work with diverse group of people. Good presentation and communication skills, both oral and written.
